I have been implementing some of the strategies that I have learned thus far and the results have been very promising. I have yet to listen to all the cds, but so far the things I have learned are usuable and have been helpful.

I love the program though I'm still trying to take it all in. The good thing about this program is that it teaches & guides me into the many scenarios to navigate my way through conflict-free encounters with my 15 year old son. The Parental Support Line I've used once but it was great talking with Megan. She kept me centered on the problem one at a time which encouraged me a lot. My family has a long way to go yet but not too long now with The Total Transformation program. Thank you so much.

Overall, this is an excellent program. For me it reinforced what I already knew I should be doing. The program also provided insight on the thought processes of defiant teenagers, which was very helpful. I would recommend this program. It was a pleasant listening experience.

I have definitely gained some good insight into changes I needed to make in my parenting to present firmer boundaries and consequences to my child. Although she is not yet 6 and this program seems geared more towards adolescents, I feel like I have a head start now and hopefully being proactive will prevent worse problems down the road!

This program has brought a lot of peace to our family. It has even helped us as a couple. We have 10 children so I know it will help us for many years. Your staff is excellent and very calming.

I am a school principal. The techniques I learned from the Total Transformation have been very usefull both in dealing with children and advising parents!

When we purchased the programwe we were cautionally optimistic. After all we had reached out many times to people, organisations, "support", to no avail. Even though the program was geared towards children with ""abusive obnoxious and disrespectful behavior" which sounded very promising, I had a strong feeling that our son was much worse then the rest and this would not be of much help.
I was astounded when I found that I felt that James was talkin directly to us about our child. so many behaviors that we felt were so out of place were openly and honestly discussed here. I feel that the discs put into words what whe know and felt but could not grasp and use and use to our benefit. I felt very empowered by the new knowledge.

wondeful program

We have just started implementing the program with our two grandsons, 8 and 7 years old. The boys have lived with us for 4 years, and have experienced a great deal of turmoil in their short lives. This program has finally given us some tools to work with in training and disciplining the boys. Raising your grandchildren has its own set of built in problems; usually these children have been through some very emotional and confusing situations. What a blessing to be able to deal with these problems by teaching the kids "problem solving skills," instead of waiting until all of their emotional problems are identified and dealt with to be able to address negative behaviors. By the time that all of the psychological issues are handled, the children often find themselves in such deep trouble that they can't find anyway out, and the grandparents are frustrated and broken hearted.
We have already seen positive results using the techniques of this program. We are able to remain calm and discuss "problems and solutions," rather than arguing and being distracted from the issue at hand. Our grandsons are responding to the idea of addressing specific behaviors and how to deal more appropriately with their feelings. They are quickly picking up on the problem solving process. I am very thankful that we found this program before the boys reached their teen years. I believe that we can avoid the very serious, extreme situations that Mr. Lehman describes in the material.
The boys' school experience has improved a great deal since we began this program. It has given them new tools and skills to deal with the situations they encounter with their peers.
I cannot say enough positive about the Total Transformation program.

As a mother of older teenagers, I have struggled with being consistent with making them accountable. Although I still need to work on this, the TTT progam has given me the words that I need to express myself, demand accountability and still be loving. The program has actually made me realize that my 17 yo son was disrespecting me often. (It also showed me this about husband, do you have a program for that? lol)
The parent support line is so very helpful. The kind woman at the other end of the wire listened to my whole story about my teenagers and was able to zero in on what actions I could take for which problems. She simplified these problems and actions for me.
Also as an educator of young children, I have learned through this program how to take the "accountability" I have used with 5 year olds to that of 17 & 19 year olds.
This program really opened my eyes to the ways I have been "tricked out" of holding my loved ones responsible. I hope and pray that it will continue to open my eyes and my heart, so that I can be a better mother to my children by setting them up for success in the real world.

This program is packed full of information that has helped me understand me and my parenting style as well as my son. I wish I would have listened to it years ago (my son is 13), but I am thankful for it now. It gives you the words you need to say when you feel powerless or overwhelmed. It enables you to take your emotion out of the equation, so you can parent your child. Thank you.

I would recommend it to anyone looking to be a more effective parent.

I do not have young children but have been able to share information from the Total Transformation that has been helpful to a friend. She has difficulty setting boundaries and following through on rules and TTT has shown her the importance of doing so. She has seen a difference in her daughter's behavior when she is clear about rules vs. letting things slide.

One of the most impressive aspects of TTT is the notion that we raise our children based on what we think they should be, rather than what they are.

On the other hand, making excuses for problem children does not teach them how to solve their problems. This idea also made sense to my friend, whose daughter has suffered some abuse in the home of a former foster family. She feels sorry for her and is therefore afraid to be firm when, in fact, firmness makes her daughter feel more secure and loved than allowing her to act out!

A wonderful program - I myself am a substitute teacher and am more careful what I say to students, knowing they are watching to see if I follow through or not. Thank you!

Thank you for sending me newsletters. I print them all as they are valuable in understanding how to deal with various issues with my grand daughter who, although only 7 years old, can be very difficult. She is ADHD. The program is excellent.

I found this product really works. I have transformed how I do things and I have really been able to help my children with the techniques. I relisten to it every month and hear new things. It has made a huge difference in my parenting style and my husbands and our house is so much better for it and so is our children.

For the first time since our son was four my husband and I feel that we are in control. We no longer walk on egg shells, nor do we give into him to prevent a blow up. From the first week my son was able to notice a difference in the way we were dealing with situations. At first he tried to manipulate the situation to try and get us to our "normal" responses, when that failed he tried the melt-down approach. He still tries but now it is almost comical to us to watch and we do not let him draw us into the situation. After listening to the first tape my husband came home and told me that he felt empowered when it came to dealing with our son. We still have a long road but at least for the first time in years I feel there is hope again. Thank you!

Fasinating how well it works.The little details make a difference in the results

This is exactly what I needed for my 2 sons who have dyslexia. They both test the limits, make excuses and blame everybody else for their problems. My main goal has always been to raise them to be responsible and resourceful and I truly believe this will be the key to their success.

I have never called to the parental support line, so I can't say anything about it.
I love the programm and I think James's technics are very smart and helpfull.
I have recomended to many of my friends and teachers to get this programm.

My husband was raised with violence, and I was raised in foster care. Together, we wanted our kids to be able to have a voice and a say in everything. Unfortunately, they grew into their teens with this sense of entitlement, and that adults were peers, instead of authority figures. Thanks to this amazing program, things are improving every day! We have learned many tools (calmness and adhering to the prescribed consequences being the two biggest ones for us) and they are working in helping us remember we are not ogres if we enforce a 1:00 a.m curfew on Saturday nights, instead of "everyone else's" 2:00 a.m.or later. Our teen daughters are learning self-control, boundaries, and accountability - and so are we as parents! Thank you so much for being a light at the end of the tunnel.

I can't say that I have followed the program to a T but I have listened to alot of the information and I am amazed at how well this program helps me to understand my son and why he does the things that he does.It has also helped me to look at myself and how my reactions model his behavior. It has given me a great insight into behaviors, my sons, mine and my husbands. I won't say that things are perfect but they ar certainly better!!! I am not done listening and learning, I think I will do that everyday, and become a better parent one step at a time. But Total Transformation has definately put me on the right path,for sure.
