I was hesitant to purchase this program because of the cost. However, after using the techniques Mr. Lehman suggested, my husband and I noticed a change in our son almost immediately.
What I loved most was the explanation that just because someone has strong feelings(such as anger), it doesn't give them the right to be disrespectful. Unacceptable behavior will be met with appropriate circumstances. This was most helpful because my husband and I disagreed on discipline and consequences.
When I called into the support line, I was really impressed with the person who helped me with a situation. I felt listened to and heard. The suggestion to deal with the problem was fair and appropriate.
I also had a good experience when calling in about the monthly fee for the support line. The gentleman was courteous, friendly, and professional.
This program was worth every penny we spent. We had exhausted ourselves trying to deal with the discipline problems we were experiencing. And the greatest thing about the program is that we can listen to the CDs over and over again so we stay on track with Mr. Lehman's methods.
We are definitely satisfied with the results from The Total Transformation Program.

We have a pretty good son. He is 16, does not use drugs, number one in his class, a good athlete. But he can be verbally abusive to us and sometimes physically abusive to me (his dad). We are only on lesson 3 but our son's attitude has improved tremendously using what we have learned so far. My wife was initially very skeptical of this program and questioned my judgment in purchasing it. Now she is a believer and we are just amazed at the improvement we have seen in our son in just a few months and even few lessons covered.

Very useful program. Costs less than two visits to a psychologist and James gives you a lot more than "how does that make you feel"? I would - and have- recommend the program to anyone with children approaching the teens. It is the "manual" you did not get when they were brand new!

I found lots of good ideas on the Total Trans. Program. I wish I would have had it years ago when my children were younger. I did have trouble with viewing one of the DVD's
b/c it didn't work well, but the CD's
have all been great. I would have also liked to have had some kind of protective sleeve for each CD to be
kept in rather than slipping them into the slit in the booklet.
Overall, I was happy I ordered your Program.

I know what the program teaches is just common sense, but to hear laid out the way it is was very helpful. It also makes me feel better to know that my son's attitude is not unusual and that my problems with him are not so large that they cannot be corrected.

I really have enjoyed learning about our child - it\'s like you\'ve known her forever! I\'m not done going through the discs yet but so far so good!

I can tell you though that I\'ve not used the helpline or really had time to digest the newsletters. I probably will not continue with that part. But the rest is great and I\'ve already recommended it to my daugher\'s school as a teacher\'s \'aid\' to dealing with kids who constantly oppose authority!

The program and the information is outstanding. The insights are absolutely incredible. Where were you when my kids were going through the turbulent years?

we have not had to call parental support or customer service. Since our kids are all teenagers we have listened to the lesson to the program with them. Oh, What a difference, especially on how they relate to each other. We have an argumentative child but that has made a big turn around. Thanks, money well spent.

We are very pleased in the changes that we made in just the first two CDs. It has helped us get our son back to the person we knew he always was. We are still using the program on as as needed basis.

I have only begun the program but so far, after disc 4, I really am not only learning a lot on how to handle my teen but understand for the first time that behavior brings about self-esteem, something that I believe most parents are not aware of. I also understand that its not to late to begin this course. I don't have a severe case, yet, but realize my teen really does want me, the parent, to set boundaries for her because she isn't equipped to handle some things thrown at her. I believe this course will help me and her to achieve a good relationship.

The TT has transformed the way I deal with my 13 year old ADHD teenage son. I finally found it freeing not to blame myself and start using the techniques in this program. There is no time like the present to learn how to parent effectively. Wow,I finally have regained my parental authority which I didn't even know I lost. But the TT showed me how it was the root cause of my ineffective parenting. I want to encourage Christians not to shy away from this great program. It is consistent with Godly principles. I thank God that I ordered this program!!!

I am fortunate that my kids are not exhibiting the characteristics of being completely out of control. I have implimented a few of the 1st techniques with my 9 year old (disconnect, give direct instructions of what I expect, etc) and it has worked amazing. I purchased two programs, one for my daughter and one for my sister. My children are already reared. I have listened to some of the CDs at my daughter's. I think the content is wise and insightful. There have been changes in her sons. I wish my parents would have had this information when I was growing up. Maybe I wouldn't have been so recalcitrant and unbearable. The whole family would have thanked you profusely!!!

My boyfriend heard about your program on a radio station and offered to help me pay for the program if I would give it a try. Ive been experiencing some behavor related issues with my 16 year old daughter. Needless to say, I ordered the program because I felt that at the very least, it could not hurt. I have taken her to social workers and psychologists in the past. My daughter made up her mind before she even went that she was not going to allow these professionals to get to know her enough to help. The Total Transformation Program not only makes perfect sense, but puts the ball in my court (as a parent). I learned that I have never taught her problem solving skills. I tried to do it all for her. I know now that I was wrong in that way of thinking and we are working very hard on her problem solving skills. She has come a long way. This program has not turned my child around in a month, but we are on our way. I have the patience, confidence and determination to make this program work. I find it helpful to listen to the tapes to remind myself to stay in control. It's easy to slip back into the old ways of doing things and when I feel like I am slipping, I listen to the tapes and they "empower" me to tote the line and stay strong. My child is learning that she can't push me around anymore and doesn't put up as much of a "fight" as before. I recently grounded her for 2 weeks and I almost think she actually likes it! She has been pleasant to be around. A weekly dose of James Lehman has been a tremendous help!

The program gives very specific ways to handle many situations of a defiant teen. My situation is a little unique, in that my husband died last year- about 10 months now- and my teen was a doll until a month or two after his death. However, its been 1 1/2 months since using your program, and he is returning to his wonderful self. Your program really helped, and I think his "anger" phase of mourning was also accelerating our problems. Your program helped me address and seperate what was anger, and an appropriate way to direct his so as not to distroy me or his sister. Thank you!!!!

I found this system very useful. Many of the examples used were relevant to our situation.

Since we have begun to use the Total Transformatin, it has been great. We have noticed a big change in the way we talk to our 10yr. old. Our favorite word now is privilage. He really gets what we are saying. If he is giving us a hard time about homework, I can just say "Homework is a privilage, you can do it and enjoy family time or you can have the privilage to put it away and go to bed." It works, not arguing, he just stops and gets the homework done. One time, he tested to see what we would do, and well, he went to bed for the night. He got the message that we where going to follow through with what we said. No more battles. Last night, he asked me if I would wake him up early so he could get to school and work on his saxophone with his band teacher. Granite, it was for band, not for math or reading or anything, but the fact that he is now seeing that if he applies himself a little more, he can improve in anything. His last report card, he brought his math grade up from a D to a B, he got 2 A's, 2 C's and 1 B. After he got the grades, he told us that he was going to bring his C's up to B's. No one told him he had to, he just said I know I can do it, and I will. I am getting all A's and B's. We have seen such a great attitude change lately, we can't be more greatful to this program, it is worth every penny. Oh, his teacher even commented on the changes she has seen. When I told her what we where doing, she asked if she could take a look at it (She is our neighbor), how great is it when someone you live near, and is also the teacher can see an improvement in your child. What a wonderful feeling. Thanks for all the help.

My wife and I purchased the Total Transformation in December in order to help with our two teenage boys, age 19 and 14. Luckily we have an 18 year old daughter sandwiched in between them who is very easy going!

One of the most simple lessons we learned is that we are good parents and our sons are good kids. They just don't know how to solve problems and we need to help them learn those skills.

There has been less yelling on our parts and more cooperative behavior on the boys' parts. We are doing well so far and hope to continue to have success with this program.

I am about 1/2 way through the program and it has a lot of great information. My daughter is 7 years old and some of the suggestions seem to be for older kids but so far I find the program helpful.

The program has been great for us - we have seen a big difference in both our daughter and more importantly, in the parenting techniques we choose to employ while in the midst of a challenging situation.

My husband and I are seeing somewhat of a difference in our son. We still have some issues with him from time to time. However, he is responding to our authority better and doing better is school as well.
We have not gone through all of the material, however what we have listened to or watched has helped us to understand our son better. He is one of six children and it seemed whatever we tried before did not help until we were told about the Total Transformation program, and after praying about it, I talked to my husband and we gave it a try.
My husband especially liked the part in the program about rewarding our son instantaneously when he did do something we asked of him. We were seeing that our son was needing a little different approach to getting through to him, as it was and still can be a fight and a half to get him do do what we ask. However, after viewing the Total Tranformation video, we recognized that this might work with our son and it has.
We have been able to remove many of the restrictions that we had placed him under and take things on a weekly basis now, rather than long term. If he does his homework and listens to us, then he is off restriction for the following week. Only one week did he have to go back on restriction and boy did he work on his homework and quickly change his behavior so that he could enjoy himself like his brothers and sister.
As I said, we still have our moments. However, we are seeing that The Total Transformation Program was the answer to our prayers for our thirteen year old son, as he has been hard to deal with since before age 4, that we can remember.

Good stuff! Our kids are little ( 4 yrs the oldest ) so, it would have been nice to have thaat age group addressed more. However, it all still applies.
Well worth the cost!

The program is wonderful. I am only on disc two,my time has been full and I have not been able to spend the time I would like too but will this week. So far I have learned allot and see what I have applied to be working. Thank you so much. I am really looking forward to completeing all cds and seeing a big diference in y 4 children w/listening .
