We would encourage parents who are considering the Total Transformation Program to go ahead and give it a try. We are thankful for the 30-day trial period so we could see for ourselves if this program would help us. Now, several months later, we continue to consider our investment in the program to be well worth it many times over. If we had used the program years ago, or even months ago, we would have saved our family much heartache and stress. However, better late than never. We have not "arrived" yet, because of years of ineffective parenting patterns which we are learning to change. However, we are seeing dramatic results in direct proportion to our consistency in using the techniques suggested in the program. Without reservation we recommend Total Transformation to friends and family as the best help we have found after several months of research. It's a relief to be able to say, "The search stops here." Total Transformation is not a "miracle" program, but it is a program that actually works as advertised. If "Parenting 101" were required for all prospective parents, our program of choice would be Total Transformation. The total transformation program has helped keep my husband and on on track and much more consistent with my son. We follow through more and have been taking away things when he hasn't behaved.

When I ordered the Total Transformationn series I was desperate for anything that would help me change my childs attitude and help our relationship. It turned out that I learned more about how I needed to change my parenting that how to change him! The result has been a great improvement in our relationship and his attitude towards school. We still have a ways to go, but it has been a lifesaver and the cost is far less than any amount of counseling I could have done, which would have been the alternative to the program. I loved the counselor that I spoke with when I called the hot line. She was an angel!

We haven\'t got all the way through the porgram, yet. So far, though, we are gaining valuable info to either reinforce what we are already doing, or correct some of our mistakes. We\'ll keep going!

We have been very pleased with the results of this program. It takes some time to go through but the information is solid. We were able to start using specific techniques the first day.........AND THEY WORKED!

Thr program is great not only has it helped with our interaction with our children it has helped with how my huband and I communicate with each other and every one we know. God bless this program and everyone who works with it

I was away for the month of February so didn't have a chance to listen to all the discs until March. They were a big WOW! describing the behaviors of BOTH my granddaughter and her parents. I'm so glad that BOTH of her parents are using your program, and now I know how to be more supportive of all three of them!

My Husband and I are clinical psychologists w/ a strong background in behavior modification. We also have always had a very team centered and reasonably consistent approach in dealing with our son who has ADHD and ODD. Despite this, we felt we were making very little headway with him. Your program has been a GODSEND and I miss no opportunity in recommending to my friends and colleagues.

We have already seen change in our son since we started using this program. I have called the help line a couple of times and have received friendly, helpful information. We have only progressed to the fourth disc, but are very hopeful that things will continue to improve. I would recommend this program to anyone who has tried everything. If you want peace in your home and respect from your kids, buy it!

I am amazed at how much sense this program makes. The concepts offered are those that we most likely already know, deep down, but have not tried yet for whatever reason. I\'ve tried them on my children, and they have really responded! I have more TT reading to do, and more work to do, but it will be worth it.

This was definitely worth purchasing, although the issues I had with my daughter were not to the extreme, they were just enough that things I tried didn't work and I needed something new to try.

Our son is defiant, and frankly, so was I. I have been able to see right through his behavior for years, but did not know how to put it into words, nor did I know how to effectively deal with him. The rest of the family has been blaming me, suggesting the problem is I'm too hard on him, never seeing that if his behavior would change, there wouldn't have been an argument in the first place. The Total Transformation has put all of us on the same page. My part in all this is that I need to learn skills that are effective, and I am. But I'm not his problem; his behavior is.

The program validated many of the ideas and experiences that my husband and I have been trying. It was very helpful to be validated.

My life was a daily struggle before the Total Transformation. The program has made me realize that I am not as terrible of a parent as I thought. I simply had to try to be the parent my son needed me to be for him. Our lives are much more peaceful and we are having much fewer blow-ups.

This was and is the only program that I have heard of and or found that was on the right track. Everything else talks about too much fluff that doesn't work. This program is what I wanted to be for my kids from day one. "Thank You for confirming what I already knew was the right path".

I am on lesson 4. I like James' approach very much. I am not interested in fluff.I have been raising kids for 27 years now, and I have seen a huge revolution of approaches. I think that it is harder now than ever to raise well adjusted kids. So much more is expected of parents, and that is not a bad thing, it is just that there is so little actual common sense advice available.
Parents are afraid to be parents because they are not even sure what it is society is asking of them most of the time. I grew up with the philosophy that the kid does what he is told or he gets his block knocked off. We were well behaved while under the thumb, but we made bad decisions when given a little freedom, and we had very few social competencies. When I started having kids, the self-esteem books were big. But at least they were teaching us how to talk to kids and each other. That is how to relate. The trouble with PET and those books, is that there was too much emphases on natural consequences, and too little power given to the parent to teach and implement structure. Some books came out like "Raising kids God's Way" which I found offensive that someone would make such a bold claim for a particular model of parenting, and put God's name on it, using scripture to endorse it. (I know that I may offend some people by saying this, but this is my review after all. I found not to my liking. I thought that method should be labeld "The Self Centred Parent" method. After that came the lost years, where young people seemed to fummble with what they were supposed to do. My olderst is 27, my youngest is 7. I have 8 kids. My last 3 are challenging. It is so much harder to raise these 3 than it was the first 6. The first 5 are doing well. They are attending university, college or have graduated. 3 are married, one more will be married soon. The last ten years has seen another revolution in parenting, and it isn't getting easier. My kids are strong willed, with strong personalities. I have one grandchild, and another grandchild on the way. I am happy to find this material to pass on to my children, so they have this knowledge from the beginning. We are using the material for my three kids, 16,9 and 7. Each one has their own unique approach to life which creates new challenges for my husband and me. It is always a high learning curve with every kid. I wish I had this material years ago.

The Total Transformation system is not only a guide in how to deal with and correct problems with a difficult child. It is also provides advice and instruction in how to be a parent. In todays world where so much emphasis has been placed upon being a best friend to your child, it shines a light upon the more difficult challenge of being a parent. It brings to light the reality that parenting is about guiding, coaching, setting limits and goals. That tough decisions need to be made by both the parent and child. Its about real life and teaching skills needed to deal with it.

Well worth it.

I am off to a good start, the problem for me has been getting my husband as involved as I am. When he has a problem with my son he says... " so what does the CD say I should do now?" I have listened to the 2nd and 4th CDS, many many times and I think that is what it takes. I have not been as good with the booklet. I have thought many times that the Parent support line might be useful for me, but at this time I have been working things out on my own. It takes consistency but is not as difficult as I thought it would be. My sons grades have improved and he seems to be coming around a bit.

I have not used the Parental Support, but like the fact that it is available. All other aspects of this program have been outstanding.

Excellent program. You hit every behavior on the head. I was never certain with the way we handle decisions or arguments, and you opened my eyes wide to realize what we thought was best was just the opposite. Every parent, problem child or not should have these dvd\'s, it would have saved my sanity numerous times over the years! Thank you so much!

These tapes have answered all of the questions that I had while struggling with a wonderful son who was always thinking - and didn't fit into a traditional school setting. He found out that the law was an absolute that he couldn't work around. It was gratifying to hear James validate what had been our experiences twenty years ago! Without the benefit of these tapes, we bumbled through teenage and beyond. With lots of Prayers twenty years ago, our son is now a wonderful father of a little boy - "just like he was." I'm giving these tapes to my son, so that he can be a better father to his son than I was to him!

I liked it a lot served me well, gives me assertiveness, strength and confidence when I need it.
