I really enjoyed this program because you can use the techniques immediately with your children and it works. I have been to many parenting classes and this beats them all. Thank you.

I am just getting started with the program. So far it has been very beneficial with my son. I am finally feeling that there is hope for our family. Thank you for what you have done by making this program available. I have been recommending it to all my friends.

The practical, no nosense information contained on these disks was so useful. I listened to them three times to make certain I fully integrated the practices into my vernacular. My two sons are young, 6 and 10, and I think the strategies put into practice early are helping me define boundries and expectations, and therefore avoiding serious attidude problems in the future. It also helped me recognize my behaviors that might invite trouble in the future. Thank you for giving me very realistic suggestions and in a straight forward delivery.

I have learned soooo much from you. There are so many up hill batteles with raising children, and your words have really helped my family. I have a blended family (his mine and ours) We were really struggling because I felt as if there were two sets of rules in our home. This program not only helped with the children but helped my husband and I realize that we were overlooking a few things too. My son turned 10 years old, had a growth spurt, then began acting-out in school and at home. Over the course of 3 months of terror, he was ultimately expelled from the Catholic school he attended for the prevous 5 1/2 years (Pre-K to mid fourth grade). In despiration and the recommendation of the Catholic school principal, we took him to a psychiatrist who diagnosed him with mild Asberger Syndrome in just two, 1-hour sessions....four other licensed professionals, including a neurologist, disagreed. Now, being in public school he was evaluated by the "Child Study Team" who found that he has an IQ of 128 and a cognitive age of 14...with no special education required. His behavior improved at the public school (somewhat) but it was still "war" very often. With no where to turn, I began researching the internet under oppositional definance disorder and found The Total Transformation course. I was familiar with The Total Transformation from the XM Radio infomercial. My son was not diagnosed with oppositional defiance but his behavior was certainly pointing that way. My son is now in the fifth grade and I've had the course for almost 2 mos. and listened to it twice. I've used the exact language that Mr. Lehman suggests and it really has been working. Mr. Lehman brings you back to basics. Slowly, the day-to-day fights are becoming more of a sigh on his part and a victory on mine! Having my masters degree in education, I thought this could never happen to my family, but it did. Mr. Lehman has given me the specific tools and wording to use with my son to regain control and sanity in our home!

Haven't yet finished the program but so far I'm impressed.

we have atotally different boy (14 years); living here now. He responds well to limit setting and even seems to feel better with it. Since making him responsible for his own actions his schoolwork has improved; going from failing to getting passing grades in all subjects. He is our grandson, and being responsible for a teenager at our age is not easy, but this program has made it less of a battle. Indeed, we have NOT had a screaming match since August of 2007.

The total transformation program helped tremendously. Our son was extremely oppositional defiant as well as adhd. After trying several suggestions from the tapes as well as working in the work book things began to get easier at home and our responses in dealing with this type of child was more than helpful.

Jacob responds well to the responses that Total Transformation teaches us to use. He seems to be dumb-founded and unable to respond in any but, the most positive ways. The lessons that we are learning seem to definitely be helping him.

I ordered this program to get a better look into the mind of children that were having behavior problems. This is a down-to-earth common sense approach to working with children. Many times parents like to use excuses. The truth is the child still needs to live in the world. Let's give them all we can. This program seems to offer much in a friendly supportive manner. I favor the reality approach.

The program reiterated my weak parenting areas & gave me the courage to inforce tough love.

Thank you so much! The Total Transformation Program is a concise, highly effective program. Parental resistance is the hardest thing to overcome -- the kids fall in line quite easily once parents do their part. Similarities to the "Dog Whisperer" are remarkable. The dogs aren't the problem, it's the owners who need the training.

The screaming has stopped, and our discussions seem to be more effective. We have 2 good days and then her desire for "fun" is strogner than her desire to avoid consequences. She has learned that she can do anything while we are sleeping, including sneaking into our room and stealing a cell phone to contact friends and then sneak out at night. We don't know how often this has occured because we are sleeping.
Total Transformation has helped us stay calm through this, but we are not sure we are really changing her behavior.

This is a great program, I have no doubt in my mind that it works. I have used some of the methods and they have helped tremondously. I just wish there was a James Lehman in my area that could teach us these on a weekly basis. finding the time to listen to the disk & read the book is difficult for me. For anyone that has a child with ODD this program is a god send!I believe in this program.

...my experience has been life-altering. The tools are logical, simple, and effective. The transformation in me created a transformation in my child. Our family is happier.

Your program has helped me manage my behavior and thoughts and helped me acquire an understanding of difficult behaviors in my children. In gaining this understanding, I am able to respond more appropriately and calmly while helping them attain problem solving and coping skills so they may become more independent and successful in life. It has brought me closer to them and helped me be strong in implementing consequences for inappropriate behavior.

The program is helpful but difficult to remember all of the actions and steps that need to be implemented to foster change. When I remember, the advice is effective. I have also found that a couple things just do not work with my kids.

I'm still working the program and I like it very much. It makes great sense to me.
I have not needed the parental support as I have no children at home. I will be using the information in a self help program I'm in.
I have not needed Customer Service.

I believe It is a bit expensive.

Here I was trying to figure out why my kids weren't listening to me! HA! Look in the mirror Mom. I found that making them accountable for their actions made such a change. I took the responsibility for past actions with them as well as asking them to forgive me was an important step. My 5 year old is still needing a little bit of help but I was able to get my 3 older children to respect me and do things for themselves. Thank you for your words and letting me see I was the problem in some of the reasons why my children were in chaos.

I am a mother of three children ages 12, 10 and 2. The program worked great for my preteens. Just wish you could help me with the terrible twos.

Total transformation has help my husband and I during the transition from kid to teenage to adult. We are still in the midst of it. That's why I say 'during'. IT has helped us promote the skills my son needs. It gives me a great sense of peace knowing I can re-hear, and re-read the materials at our convienence. I can call when I need to. IT also gives me peace to know that my husband and I can take inventory of our unique strengths and weakness and it helps us understand the entire dynamics/effects/affects of our joint parenting. I told the elementary school VP, a friend about this program. A couple of days later a new family moved to the school system, and announced their use of the program. I've shared the info with other parents. I l ove this program because it as closer to affordable, and much more helpful than a counselor. IT is concrete and realistic. IT gives help sooner.

My issue's, with my daughter was back talking and she would not do her chores.I studied the course and seen what I was doing wrong.Instead of memorizing what to say back to my child after an issue, I typed up different consequence what would happen if she back talked,Didn't do her chores etc.Then I had her sign and date it and gave her a copy.I treated our relationship as a business rather then my friend. Since I've done this, I have had no problems. Thank You

I thought I had seen and heard them all. But the Total Transformation program outdid them all. This is a wonderful series and would recommend them to anyone! I hope my DVDs don't wear out from all the use!
