I went into the program ready to give up on being a better parent.... I am glad I did not because now I feel like I have the tools to be the parent I had hoped to be. Use the tools and just keep trying, the results you see will be worth it!

The Total Trnasformation Program is so valuaable that I reccomend it to EVERYONE I meet complaining about their children's misbehavoir!

It is so good at helping parents/adults AND children discover there are ways of talking that 'communicate' intended messages clearly and unemotionally. You see, it is the 'emotional' message that ALL people hear FIRST.....then IF there is enough trust and history they will sometimes hear and understand the intended message! This program helps to deliver the intended messager FIRST and to limit the emotional message impact upon communications.

My son had moved out of my house and into my parent's house because we could not get along. His behavior was so horrible that the only choices I felt I had were The Total Transformation or Military School.

I tried the total transformation, and did not see too much of a change at first. I kept listening to the cd's on my way to work and on my way home (sometimes more than twice) and kept applying the strategies when my son came to visit, which was 2 days a week.

My son noticed that I stopped yelling at him and was surprised that he could not push my buttons and get the same reaction that he used to.

I would make myself very clear and follow through even though, as a mom, I did not want to. I wanted to give in but instead stood my ground.

The changes happened slowly, but now we can communicate better and my son no longer runs the house.

After showing my son that his dad and I could parent him better, he was more than happy to come back home. It took 6 weeks of work but he is where he belongs.

I still use the cd's as a reminder and encouragement of the tasks and changes that need to be kept in place so that we don't end up where we were.

I have recommended this program to several people and will not stop telling people about it. It is a life saving change.

The Total Transformation program was a great process for me to journey through because it made me evaluate the effectiveness of my responses and behavior in certain situations as well. The meriad of responses to various scenarios gave me many responses and tools to use. This is not a one size fits all program and it takes practice. For my child with special needs it was extremely successful when coordinated with a psychiatrist and others such as teachers and caretakers. I definitely realized that I can make my special needs child responsible for his behavior instead of using his disability as an excuse for it, and the program helped me identify problems, triggers and alternative responses which helped lower the level of abusive behavior. I would highly recommend this program in coordination with other efforts to enable the child to control behavior and develop problem solving skills.

The Total Transformation Program is simple, powerful and effective. We have been using it for 4 months and are delighted with the results. I hesitated at first, finally just did it and have been smiling since.

It took me a very long time to accept that my son's behavior was obnoxious and abusive. After completing the Total Transformation Program,I became empowered to take charge of my life. I no longer accept his offensive behavior. In fact, I walk away when he starts with his verbal abuse. Now he is with his dad and God and the Total Transformation Program has given me the strength to avoid calling him. I do hope during this period he will find God and realize that life doesn't owe him anything--he must take charge of himself and his behaviors.

My husband son and I learned a lot about family relationships, and the importance of discipline and maturing. We did not use the Parental Support Line. We became aware of and used techniques for interacting between parent child relationships. We continue to use the techniques on an ongoing basis..and we still see positive change.

The program is easy to use and easy to put into practice. I knew my son could do better but there was something keeping him from doing his best. The Program helped me see that it was his false perceptions about school,work,bedtime and personal responsibility that where causing him to resist. The probram showed me how I was helping to reinforce those false perceptions as well as the things that I was doing right. It was not immediate but my son has made sugnificant improvements at home and school.

I purchased the program due to my step children. One has excessive lying problem, both are disrespectful, don't listen, have ADD and poor grades.
The program is GREAT! I feel the program has helped with changing my outlook and the way I handle them.

I PURCHASED THE TOTAL TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM TO HELP ME HELP MY 2 KIDS. THE TECHNIQUES WERE EASY TO IMPLEMENT HOWEVER MY KIDS WERE VERY RESISTENT TO THE CHANGE OF POWER. WHEN I FIRST STARTED, THE TECHNIQUES WERE RESISTED AND THEN THE KIDS FOLLOWED, HOWEVER, THEN IT WENT BACK TO THE RESISTENCE. I AM STILL WORKING WITH THE PROGRAM AND HOPE WITH THE CONSISTENCY ON MY PART TO THE TECHNIQUES JAMES DESCRIBES THAT THE RESISTENCE WILL BECOME MORE OF A WELCOMING FEELING BY MY KIDS.

I adopted 2 children from Child Protective Services and both are ADHD and one has additional problems. I was at my wit's end on how to deal with the little one's behavior (he has some very impulsive actions as well and no fear of consequence). I really found encouragement and hope in this program and use it diligently.

We had reached a point with our 13 year old and didn't know what else to do. It has been fairly effective so far since we just started the process. I look forward to what the following months will do as well.

I purchased the TTP because the advertisement on the radio exactly discribed what was going on with my 7 year old son. Little did I know it would actually help my husband understand how his disfunctional parenting (learned of course, from his parents) style was causing a lot of problems.

For my ADHD/Behavior Defiant son; to gain skills as a parent to handle the behaviors that we were dealing with. This program is an answered prayer. I have used so much of it pieces and parts at a time as they have sunk in. I have probably listened to it 100 times by now, after the initial time. I incorporate new bits into our lives all the time. We are in a much better place because of this program. We aren't experts at it by any means, but there is such a change from a year ago!

I purchased the program because I have teenage twin boys and I could see some anger issues developing and some control problems. I liked most about the program is that it is really a learning tool for parents. It gives you the exact things to say that have an amazing affect. It really is reminding parents who has control. We sometimes forget that we control the house, not them. It also helps to understand the purpose of punishment which is not just to punish but to teach. Putting someone on one month punishment teaches nothing but resentment, the real issue is earning the privilege back and learning how to maintain it. I just found it fantastic. The only change I would recommend would be doing a mini version for review within 30 days -- it is alot of material and it does require a lot of work for the parents, but it is empowering.

We bought the program because we have a 10 year old daughter who was running our lives. The program helped us to put things in perspective. It was amazing to me how she responded when we did what we said we would. She began to trust us and not think we were simply issuing idle threats. Things are much better at home. No perfect, but it is still a work in progress.

I am only half way through the program and I can already see the results! Thank you sooooo much. 17 year old male teen son was acting out, grades were dropping, seemed less and less interested in the healthy and happy things in life. He appears to be turning it around now.
