I purchased it for two reasons. First because my fiance has children with discipline problems. Secondly I purchased it because I am a Social Work student and wanted to see what the program was about and how it worked. I think the program is great and goes along with all the empirical data out there. I also follows the belief I have about children, discipline and parenting.

I purchased the total transformation because I was not being effective in my parenting skills and needed guidance. I am very pleased with the system and would highly recommend it to anyone who is having difficulty with their child/children.

My teenage son was out of control. He was failing school, he was abusive at home. Since using TTT I have also realized how much my two teenage daughters were flying under the radar. We were so focused on our son because he was the most vocal and defiant child that we dismissed our daughters' behaviors

We have a child with tourettes and ODD. He was having behavioral problems and nothing we did seemed to work. He is currently on medication for his tourettes but we couldn't get a hold on his behaviors until we began this program. We are a work in progress but we have seen a big difference in his behavior.

My teenager has been lying a lot and my two toddlers constantly misbehave. It's a helpful program and very informative, but since my toddlers are so young, I don't think it works for them. Also, my teenager has mental issues, so it doesn't really work with learning disabled children very well.

I don't have a review but a question. Is 2 and 3 yrs old too young for this to work?
If so please get one for the young children 2 thru 5 years old.

I purchased the program because even though my six children are generally well behaved, I wanted to prepare myself for when they get older. I want my children to have a good foundation during their primary and teenage years.

Losing 'the battle' with 9 year old son. Needed tools to make changes. Parenting style ineffective with son and did not know what to do. Professional counselor suggested Total Transformation Program and had heard advertisement on XM Radio. Very pleased with material. I had read a lot of Christian books on raising kids but none seemed to understand or directly adress the issues my wife and I were having with our son. I was desperate to regrain control of my children's bad behavior. Within 5 days I was able to get trough to them. I used the tools you gave and it worked. I used the contract system on my daughter who had been using drugs. She broke the verbal contract so we went to the simple contract. She broke that one as well and we proceeded to the next one.The turf contract. It had stopped there. She has been clean for 2 months now. The Total Transformation Program has worked for many areas in my home. I have 9 children with different issues. I have reccommended it to many people.

We have a 31/2 yr old. would like to see more on what to do before they are teens

The information in TT is great and was very educational for all my kids, even the two without behavior problems. The only suggestion would be to offer more information on what to do when your child still refuses to _______. Much of the information is if this happens, then do this. Well, with behavior problems, often the solution is met with the same resistence or non-cooperative response as usual. My child is 6, leaving him at the mall to find his way home is not an option. Like I said, the information is wonderful and much of it is working or at least being implemented with results pending. I just would like a little more in suggestions for dealing with continued resistence even AFTER I've done the recommended solution.

Very informative in reinforcing tough love concepts in training our childern they have to be responsible for their own actions and respectful of others.

The Total Transformation Program can be a useful tool for someone who has a child who is out of control but it did not address the problem I have with my 6-year old grandson and that is why I sent it back as per instructions. I would and have recommended the program to others because it really is beneficial for those who are struggling to get control of a disrespectful child or teen.

The program has given me stratagies in dealing with my teenage son that have really helped. The program is also very motivating and comforting. It gives me a feeling of hope. The newsletter via e-mail is also a great help.

I bought the program because I was keeping my grandson a lot whose parents are divorced. He was starting to school and stayed in trouble all the time. I just didnt know how to help him or his mother. I bought the program, listened to it and applied it and I saw it begin to work. I wasnt sure how to approach his mother with it so I waited. On one particularly bad day when she picked him up, I shared the program with her.
She gladly accepted it and assured me she was not insulted. Now my grandson
jumps off the bus and cant wait to tell me how well his day went. All HAPPY FACES!!

Excellent guidelines and very factual. I did have difficulty applying it in a constant manner because of the summer break and not being together with my teenage daughter all the time. But it takes time and I definitely am decided to go by the program. I did not find anything else even close that would make to change behaviour and I have a difficult daughter. Now I am away for three weeks and I am watching from distance if anything changed. Some thiongs did change right away, but the road ahead still has distance to go. Excellent program though.

I have really enjoyed the program I have listened to/worked through thus far. It has made positive changes in my home with my kids, as well as in my classroom with my students.

I think the program is GREAT! It has helped my husband and me to understand our child better and to deal with his behavior problems in a way that we are not mad at each other. It is very difficult to get a man (not judging, just saying) to find the time to listen to all the discs! I have trapped him in the car on road trips and hooked up my iPhone to the stereo and we listened together.

I am the step-mom so I see the behavior problems and how our teen his manipulated his family for so long. I have tried to talk to my husband about our son for so long but he just thinks I am "too hard" on him (mainly because the teen has told his Dad that). Having someone else explain how these kids work and manipulate opened his eyes like I never could! It is wonderful to have the everyday examples and SHOW parents how manipulated they are and how destructive that is for the child and the whole family. Having a guide to go by to tell parent's what to do - I mean specifically what to do and what to say makes all the difference!

A lot of programs or counselors say, understand him, be consistent, don't get angry, love your child! Well DUH! But how exactly do you do that with a 13 year old yelling at you and blaming everyone else in the world for his problems?


Total Transformation has given us the words and actions to make our house a better home for our teen, us, and our other two kid. The other 2 younger boys used to have to be ignored because all our parenting energy was spent on one kid! The other two do what they were supposed to (most of the time), are respectful, and are not abusive to us yet they usually did not get the time and attention they needed because we were always dealing with the problem child and getting nowhere!

Our home is less stressful, our marriage is stronger, and we enjoy our kids more.

What really paid for itself for us was actually the bonus cd included. My husband and I were having problems with consistency. The bonus cd helped us to come up with the words and phrases we needed to take the volatility out of our relationship with our son. Once we did that within a couple of weeks were on a better path. We just needed to stop talking so much and start listening to our son more! The bonus cd helped us do that. Thanks! The rest of the program we are taking slow and look at it as a "rest of life" program as our kids get older. Our son is only 4 - so we are trying to make sure we stop problems now and start on the right path.

Was very impressed with the breakdown of the cd's and workbook. It has really helped identify my ineffective coping skills and my son's motives. In doing so, I now know how to manage my reactions and break some bad parenting habits. Having grown up in an abusive home, I strived not to follow suit, however, I did not have effective skills to deal with a defiant, abusive child - now I am feeling a lot more confident in stopping the behavior before it really gets rolling.
