Before the Total Transformation Program, my three children hit each other constantly. It was their instant response to each other. I also have a son that constantly talked back and was very oppositional and would argue constantly over anything and everything. Within three weeks of starting the program my children rarely, if ever, resorted to hitting anymore. They now know they are responsible for their actions and they know the consequences for their negative behavior. My argumentative son realizes now that just because he is tired or hungry or whatever his excuse happens to be, he has to control how he talks to myself or his father.
This program is very effective, but parents have to be willing to listen to the CDs and use the workbook and be willing to make a change in their parenting techniques. Our family is much more stable and happy due to the Total Transformation Program. Having followed the steps that are given in the CDs and workbook, this program has definitely worked for us.

I found the Total Transformation to be very helpful. I never got help like this from any school my son went to or any professional. This is a total hands on approach that is effective right from day 1. This program should be in all schools for parents and be available to all who have adolescent children. My 6 yr old son was diagnosed as ADHD with compulsive and aggressive type tendencies. I have tried so many different books and types of parenting styles that didn't work. My son is on medication during the day while at school, but that doesn't help with his defiance and constant meltdowns at home. The Total Transformation helped me to learn that he has to be responsible for his own choices and behavior. That I can't keep using his diagnosis as an excuse for his bad behavior.
This program helped me be a better parent for my child, not the child I wished he was.

At first, I was a bit worried that, as my children are a bit younger, I wouldn't get anything out of the program. In fact I was given a great set of tools to use now and in the future. I was reminded of the true role definition of a parent, and how my kids are counting on me to fulfill that role - whether they know it or not. I learned a lot, and will continue to learn as my husband and I practice applying these new tools.

Been using the Total Transformation for about 3 months it has been much more peaceful around here. Been less fights with his sister and dad. He is doing much better in school. The rulers are the rules we do not give in like i use to its been great but it is hard work you are always working at keeping the peace in this house.GOD IS GREAT COULD NOT DO IT WITH OUT HIM! Parents, I have to say that I do not regret ordering this program. This program has helped me and my family to learn how to cope and change our lives in dealing with my 6 year old grandson and his attitude. He now listens before he reacts, he is now respecting what we ask of him and also respecting his elders. It is amazing how he just picks up his books and does his homework without me asking him to sit down and do his homework. I could go on but I would rather you try this program, trust me, you will not regret it. It truly does work. Give it a chance.

My son is a good kid, makes good grades, doesn't act out at school. However, at home he had a hard time dealing with us saying no to him and not being allowed to do what he wanted. Usually it was about homework or playtime. He never wanted to start homework and didn't want to stop the playtime. He is 9 years old.
So, when he didn't like what we had to say, we would get into a fighting match. I would try to justify my request and he would argue about things that weren't relevant to the discussion. I was always walking on egg shells trying to gauge his mood. It wasn't a healthy environment.
When I started using the program, I learned how to stay focused on the issue at hand and how to stay calm.
It was very simple, but if you don't know what to do, it seems so defeating. We have all relearned how to respond to each other. I was terrible about yelling. I knew it wasn't helping; but, I needed guidance on what to do instead. My son now reminds ME to calm down if I start to get too excited about a difference we are having. I recommend this to anyone who is having difficulty with a child who is a little or a lot rebellious. Also, I am continuing to listen to James Lehman's tapes because I sometimes fall back into old habbits.
I never used the Parental Support, but I rated it a 5 because the lady who I spoke with initially was so informative and helpful. She didn't just take my order, but discussed some of our issues with me. She was very nice and easy to talk to. I am assuming she was part of Parental Support.
I hope this review helps whom ever reads it.

I ordered this program after hearing an ad on the radio, and boy was I surprised at just how helpful it was! The CDs and discussions on them made me feel like I wasn't alone anymore and that there was help for my child and I. My son is 5 years old and I was getting weekly calls from the dean at his school. After going through the program with him, an amazing turnaround has happened. I think this program is the best investment I've made for my family!

I was hesitant to order the program but willing to try anything. My 9 year old son was in control and I was desperate for an earthquake to shake things back into order. I had already raised two girls, now ages 26 and 22, and was pretty successful. That could have been part of the problem. I KNEW how to raise children - to the point that my friends wanted to send their kids to my house for "summer camp". Why was raising this 9 year old boy so different/difficult? Boys verses girls was not a satisfactory answer for me. The largest benefit of the program was that it allowed/required me to listen and work the program within the quietness and privacy of my own bedroom, or that is where I chose to work the program, usually during the wee hours of the night. The benefit to this was that I didn't have to defend myself or my parenting skills to anyone. I had to face the music totally without defense and come to realize that I really might not be doing something right. Being a perfectionist, a trait that my son also possesses, makes it difficult to admit and change or repair something that you feel is not broken. Parenting is something I take, and always have taken, very seriously. All of the ingredients were in my head but I had to realize that I was not necessarily using all of them effectively. Realizing my fear of his outbursts was my first clue to realizing I was not in control. I then let my guard down and accepted all of the content of the program and within days saw positive results with my son. I especially enjoy the frequent emails and articles that help me stay on track. For someone that knew it all, and had previuosly done it, the program was an awakening for me that changed all our lives for the better and I am ever so grateful.

I spent hours with the tapes and workbook because it was so to the point!
Face to face with difficult people I tended to give in . Because of the
caring and practical examples I was able
to see things in a different way. I was able to handle myself better and to
communicate better. I have recommended
the tapes and I have been telling people about the examples in them.
These tapes also were a help in almost
any confrontational situation I have encountered since I finished the course.

Since I received the Total Transformation and started using the techniques my home is like a new household. From the first email I received after my order to the last DVD I listened to I feel this is a great program. The complaint journal and reward system has worked best for us. The way we all talk to each other now is awesome. No more yelling or telling my daughter five times to get dresses or do her homework, it is now tell her once and she does it! Total transformation has truly changed our lives for the better. Even the other children in the house say it is the best thing I did. I really realize now how the one defiant child was disrupting not only my life but the life of the other kids. They all get along better and everyone is much happier. It is worth every penny!

I would highly recommend The Total Transformation Program to any parent out there who is struggling with a defiant child/teenager. I recently went through some very trying times with my teenager and had I not had just the started the Program, I would of handled the situation completely the wrong way and probably would have damaged my relationship with my daughter even more than it was before I started the Program. The Program has given me tools that have helped in ways I would have never thought of myself. It has renewed my relationship with my daughter so we can mend our past and move forward with a refreshed relationship.

This is a sure thing. The transformation is not just in your child's behavior but also in the parents. This program invites you and teaches you to become more compassionate, a better coach and how to be a logical, critical thinker/ responder rather than a victim of your own emotions. It is mandatory to learn this in my opinion if you have a child with a behavioral issue of any kind. Even though I received a full refund for completing the survey, I stand firm in saying it was worth every dime.

When I sent for Total Transformation I was really looking for some tools in my parental tool belt to help me with my child. One of the Greatest things that I learned with this program was how to handle the issues but also why we were having some of these problems. Just a couple of the items in this program can make a tremendous difference in your relationship with your child. One word of caution. This program will not work if you do not put the time into listening to it and actually doing the work. If you do that I promise you will get results.

I got this program to help deal with groups of youth in our church club. I would have benefitted from having it when I was raising my own. It is very logical, doable, confidence-building, and reality-based. I can see great merit for any child, but especially difficult youth who don't have the coping skills to "behave". It helps you understand where they are coming from and how to respond in a helpful way. I know many parents who don't think they have difficult or problem children who would nonetheless benefit from this program.

We are parents of a daughter age six and a son age four. We know the type of children my husband and I were and we didn't want our children to grow up the way we did. We wanted to be different parents. The techniques we learned were exactly what we were looking for! We want to set respectful, problem solving habits in our children before they become teenagers and we have to correct their behavior. We love the idea of logical, take no crap parenting. We are anticipating changes and problems as our children grow and flex their independence and we know that The Total Transformation System will help us along the way!

Mr. Lehman knows this topic inside and out. He has great insight into the misconceptions and life-view of troubled children and how to address these problems.
Some techniques work quickly. There is SO much to remember, that it will take time and reviewing the material a lot before the responses he teaches to use in specific situations will come automatically when dealing with a child.
This program takes work to implement, but the effort is worth it.
